Obama branded heroin sells in NY
Police in New York have reportedly arrested five people suspected of selling heroin under the brand name “Obama”.
Photos released by the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office show the new president’s name stamped in red ink on small wrappers allegedly sold by street dealers, reports the Smoking Gun news website.
It’s not unusual for narcotic dealers to use famous names to distinguish the quality of a batch of drugs. Bin Laden heroin, Harry Potter ecstasy, and Teletubbies cocaine have all been sold on the streets of America.
