Sanchez Effect

RT

Sanchez Effect is a journalistic rebellion. RT’s flagship program is led by Rick Sanchez, the Emmy and Peabody Award-winning newsman who’s made a career out of defying the status quo. “When only one side of a story is permitted, that’s when I push harder. If Moscow is deemed off-limits, it’s precisely where I want to be. Because more often than not, truth resides in the places we’re told not to look.”

Ukraine, the Gaza War, and Trump’s intentions: Glass half full or half empty? A clash of perspectives on the Sanchez Effect

In the latest episode, host Rick takes us deep into a spirited debate between George Papadopoulos, former foreign policy advisor to President Trump, and Judge Andrew Napolitano, host of the “Judging Freedom” podcast and former New Jersey Superior Court Judge.

These two have had a front-row seat to the enigmatic character steering the ship from the White House, but they couldn’t be more divided. George argues that Trump’s ultimate goal is peace between Russia and Ukraine, claiming that despite the heated rhetoric, actions speak louder – and those actions have leaned towards dialogue. In contrast, Judge Napolitano isn’t buying it; he sees Trump as a rudderless captain, relying solely on his inflated sense of importance, which doesn’t bode well for resolving conflicts.

The Gaza situation? Judge Napolitano calls it a total sham, while Papadopoulos believes it offers a de facto two-state solution. Join the discussion as they unpack war, peace, and the media narratives that shape them. Don’t miss out – tune in only on RT!

‘Trump is China’s greatest gift since the WTO was ratified’ – Einar Tangen

In the latest episode of Sanchez Effect, we dissect Trump’s tariff war with China and its implications for Beijing. Senior Fellow at the Taihe Institute and Founder of Asia Narratives Substack, Einar Tangen, describes Trump as an open book — a fun poker opponent who resorts to flashy declarations whenever he feels threatened. His tariffs on China stem from a fear of BRICS outshining him. Yet, these moves could run the US economy into the ground. Trump’s dream of bringing manufacturing home is like injecting bleach into your veins — it harms those he’s meant to protect: his own citizens.

As Trump grapples with his China tariff showdown and the elusive Nobel Peace Prize that slipped through his fingers, another blow comes from home — a less-than-flattering Time magazine cover. Why does it sting so much? And what’s Israel doing in the mix? Tune in to find out Rick’s take on the ‘The Leader Israel Needed’ only on RT!

‘Boris Johnson should be regarded as a criminal’ – Alexander Mckay

On this episode of RT’s Sanchez Effect, Rick focuses on the Gaza peace deal and the recent leaked documents saying former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson received more than one million dollars over his warmongering policies for Ukraine which led to a reported one million  Ukrainian deaths. He is joined by Alexander Mckay who is Scotland’s Glasgow-based co-host of the show ‘Decline & Fall’, who says that Britain is definitely accountable for the slaughter in Gaza. On the Boris Johnson case, Mckay says the former PM would be investigated by the authorities if the UK was a democratic country, but such corruption is familiar to major British and Western politicians. He explains that they don’t care about the needs of their people and they see the world as a big chessboard, and if you need to sacrifice someone or even your own citizens – so be it. But Alexander says that dark times are coming that will hit the people of Britain hard, and it will be the time when there is hell to pay for the politicians, otherwise the UK will sink. Border tensions: Pakistan and Afghanistan trade blows — can peace prevail?

On the latest episode of ‘Sanchez Effect’ Rick dives into the escalating border clashes between Pakistan and Afghanistan, exploring who stands to gain and whether war is inevitable. Join him as he speaks with retired Lt. Gen. Talat Masood from Pakistan and Afghan American TV host Samsor Safi.

Safi highlights the timing of this escalation, noting that Russia, one of the first nations to recognize Afghanistan, aims to mend Kabul’s ties with India — an action he believes provokes Pakistan. He argues that Islamabad prefers a weaker Kabul to maintain influence over its affairs.

On the flip side, Masood contends that a strong Afghanistan is in Pakistan’s best interest, claiming that improved relations with other countries pose no threat. For insights into the origins of the crisis and its potential outcomes, don’t miss this episode, where Rick also unpacks Russia’s growing relations with Saudi Arabia and other countries, contrasting Moscow’s charm offensive with Trump’s tariff wars against China. All this and more, only on RT!

Trust Issues: Washington faces an unprecedented debt crisis as its allies lose faith in the dollar

In the latest episode of Sanchez Effect, Rick dives into the drama surrounding the world’s most controversial currency – a tool for blackmail and sanctions that’s been used as a weapon by the Oval Office. Countries are finally saying, ‘Enough is enough!’ – with New Delhi gearing up to pay for Russian oil in yuan instead of dollars. Kenya is also preparing to settle its deals in the Chinese currency, and even the EU is on the fence. Meanwhile, the US is struggling under its own mountain of debt, borrowing more than it earns. Is the writing on the wall? Could the global reserve currency finally be facing its demise?

Plus, Rick sits down with Nichole M. Bess, the visionary behind Noir Fashion Week, who shares why she’s taking her business to Russia and what unique opportunities Moscow offers that New York simply can’t match. Don’t miss this episode, only on RT!

‘There will be a round two of the regime change attempts in Venezuela and Iran by the end of the year’ – Alex Christoforou

In this episode of RT’s Sanchez Effect, journalist and blogger, Alex Christoforou, joins Rick in mocking leaders in Europe as another French government collapses without lasting even a month. Alex says ‘Merz, Macron, Starmer don’t even have a 50% approval rating combined’ as they prioritize warmongering foreign policy instead of addressing the needs of their people. Christoforou also commented on what looks like a ‘false flag’ operation in Caracas against the US Embassy. He says Washington doesn’t need any more ‘false flags’, as Trump’s intent to get his hands on Venezuelan oil is clear. Watch this and more – on RT International.
