And Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul professor Fabiano Mielniczuk says that, despite Brazil’s good ties with the US, it has been pressured by the White House; and as it can’t trust America, it must become less dependent on it – and boosting BRICS co-operation is the way to achieve that.
