‘You bombed Qatar, sir’ – Rick Sanchez, ‘Are you defending ISIS?’ – retired Israeli intel officer

In this episode of RT’s Sanchez Effect, Rick looks deep into the root causes of the Israeli attack on Doha that killed HAMAS negotiators invited by the US. It’s nothing surprising, given Washington misled Moscow about no NATO expansion and Iran over the nuclear deal negotiations. Mr. Sanchez challenges retired Israeli intelligence officer Mordechai Kedar over the latest escalation. His response is that Israel can do whatever it wants as the Middle East understands nothing but strength as there’re “no normal countries apart from the UAE.” He backs the Netanyahu government’s ground operation in Gaza, justifying all its brutal actions with “October 7th.” Kedar says that all the humanitarian organizations including the United Nations are paid and can’t be trusted – and neither can the Palestinian statistics on the death toll. In the second section Rick speaks to Nicolai Petro, professor of political science at the University of Rhode Island, on the Ukraine conflict.
