The world marks a Day against Human Trafficking with the UN warning that every country is still affected by modern-day slavery. The deaths of a British soldier and a US commando, once used to justify a western military presence in Syria, are now deemed the result of friendly fire as a UK inquiry rejects the Pentagon's version of events.
