United we stand? Dissecting the 2020 DNC (Special coverage)

The 2020 Democratic National Convention began on Monday. Democrats produce an unprecedented television event in lieu of an in-person convention due to COVID-19 fears. It will see its final installment on Thursday. It has already included a wide range of speakers from both major US parties, from politicians to public servants to ordinary people, including former Presidents Carter and Clinton. The Black Lives Matter movement, the COVID-19 pandemic, healthcare, foreign policy and more have all been addressed. RT America’s Natasha Sweatte brings us up to speed. Then GOP strategist Melik Abdul and former Georgia state representative Dee Dawkins-Haigler join Scottie Nell Hughes to discuss the lessons of the 2020 DNC. Then Democratic strategist Jan Ronis and conservative author Ed Martin join to share their insights.
