Curious Tofurious: South Ural
American traveller Tofurious Crane continues his journey across Russia. This time, he heads to the Southern Urals — a land of steelmakers, ice hockey, and breathtaking nature.
Together with his Instagram followers, Nikita and his father Andrey, Tofurious sets off on a rafting trip down the Belaya River.
To explore the region’s history, Tofurious travels to the Arkaim Museum Reserve, where a historical reenactment festival takes place. He spends his final evening in the Southern Urals at Nikita’s family home, learning how to make authentic Ural dumplings — the famous pelmeni.
