The geopolitical landscape is in flux. International institutions and legal norms established after World War II are in steep decline or are no longer relevant. And importantly so are the meta-narratives invoked to legitimize domination. The idea of a ‘rules-based order’ is bankrupt. It is unclear what will take its place.
