Germany’s dead end?
Germany’s elections offered up some surprises. The Alternative for Germany (AfD) surged. The left returned a stunning result, and importantly, voter turnout was robust. But the final result – the next ruling coalition – will be the same status quo parties and their policies. Not exactly change.
