Bipartisan stranglehold
From Donald Trump in 2016 to Tulsi Gabbard in 2020, there is a part of the electorate that responds to anti-war/anti-interventionist rhetoric. In fact, there is evidence that this significantly helped get Trump elected. But, the fact remains – the establishment is keen to downplay and even demonize any candidate who questions foreign policy orthodoxies. Why is this?
