TikTok tussle chills China-US ties
China has responded to the United States’ efforts to force the sale of Chinese social media app TikTok. There has been more pushback over TikTok and whether or not US tech giant Microsoft will actually be able to take over. Meanwhile, lockdown orders are coming back into effect in some countries as the world attempts to limit the spread of Covid-19. Plus, the oil industry continues to struggle due to a lack of demand caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
