Authorities act under pressure of larger powers overseeing the independence of Kosovo and end up not pursuing any course of action, says Bojan Brkic, reporter and political analyst from Belgrade.
If Ceku eventually stands trial, this will give Serbia the chance to exercise its right to try individuals from its former breakaway region and subsequently confirm its sovereignty over Kosovo – the territory it still considers to be Serbian, suggests Bojan Brkic.
