“SCO is not a counterbalance to NATO” – analyst
The Shanghai Cooperation Organisation meeting is promising a more efficient framework. Ekaterina Koldunova, political analyst at Moscow University of International Relations doesn’t see the SCO as a NATO counterbalance.
The SCO consists of Russia, China and several Central Asian states.
On Friday meeting in Moscow the Foreign Ministers of member-countries emphasized the need to consolidate and become a more efficient security, economic and cultural organization.
