Tamara Ryzhenkova, a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Asian and African Studies at St. Petersburg State University, specializes in the history of Arab countries and Islamic studies. She currently teaches Asian and African history as well as Arabic.
In her media publications, Tamara highlights geopolitical and economic issues which affect the Arab countries in North Africa and their development. Her field of scientific interests is the history of Egypt in the Middle Ages and the Modern Era.
