Matthieu Buge

Matthieu Buge is a political and geopolitical analyst who went through the Sorbonne University and the Paris Institute of Political Studies.

Since then, he has been mainly focusing on history, propaganda, their links, and the influence they have on the perception on major geopolitical events.

He has worked on Russia for the magazine l’Histoire, the Russian film magazine Séance, and as a columnist for Le Courrier de Russie and the Russian journal Expert. He is the author of the book Le Cauchemar Russe (The Russian Nightmare), a pamphlet about the western clichés and fantasies concerning the Russian world and its cultures.

Originally from Paris, he moved to Russia in 2012 and took Russian citizenship.
