Farhad Ibragimov is a political analyst specializing in the Middle East (Iran, Türkiye, Pakistan, and Afghanistan) and the post-Soviet space.
He earned his master’s degree in World Economy and International Affairs from the Higher School of Economics in Moscow in 2017. That same year, he completed a short-term internship at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City.
Farhad currently teaches at the Faculty of Economics at Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (RUDN). He also serves as a guest lecturer at the Institute of Public Administration and Civil Service of the Russian Presidential Academy (RANEPA) and at the Higher School of Economics.
An expert at the Center for Middle East Studies, he is a frequent commentator on Russian television and appears regularly on international broadcast platforms.
