Iran executes 8 ISIS terrorists behind 2017 attacks in Tehran
Tehran had executed eight Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS) terrorists, the Iranian media reported on Saturday. The convicts were sentenced to death in May for their involvement in the 2017 attack in Tehran, when armed men simultaneously stormed the national parliament and the mausoleum of Iran’s religious leader Ruhollah Khomeini. The attack left 17 civilians dead.
