Suspected Maoist rebels attack in India: 49 policemen reported dead

In India, 49 policemen are reported dead, another 12 – wounded after their post in the east of the country was attacked by suspected Maoist rebels. Reinforcements have been sent to the area.
The suspected rebels were armed with rifles, grenades and petrol bombs. They're also said to have planted land mines before fleeing, making it harder for security forces to catch them.
