Russia reveals uniform for Vancouver
Russia’s uniform for the upcoming Vancouver 2010 Games was unveiled in the heart of Moscow. Former Olympic heroes Aleksey Yagudin and Irina Slutskaya appeared in the outfits on the ice rink on Red Square.
Bosco Sport’s spokesperson Yulia Bordovskih told RT that the main feature of the outfits is that they were designed with “heart, by people who love Russian sports.”
The uniform has the colors of the Russian flag and is decorated with the images of a firebird’s feathers which, according to Russian tales, always stay warm and bring luck.
