Interpol displays extradition impotence
The Secretary General of Interpol says it is unable to help arrest people on Russia's most wanted list living in the UK.
Ronald Noble was referring to the likes of Chechen militant Akhmed Zakayev and oligarch Boris Berezovsky.
Britain has often been accused of double standards in its extradition policy.
Berezovsky is wanted in Russia on charges of embezzlement and a coup attempt.
Zakayev has been on the most wanted list since the 1990s, when his gang, with suspected links to Al-Qaeda, is accused of killing civilians and carrying out kidnappings in Chechnya.
