Exhibitionist caught by teenage-girls

Three teenagers tracked down an elderly man seen exposing himself in public and helped police arrest him. The man turned out to be a U.S. citizen who had been living in the capital for a long while.

As Moskovsky Komsomolets newspaper reports, the 61-year-old exhibitionist allegedly exposed himself on Friday while surprised pedestrians were walking in a popular Moscow area. The teens heard screaming and followed the lead of startled people, who had frightened away the man, forcing him to flee the area. But then the teenagers composed themselves and decided to follow him so they might assist police in arresting him.

One of the heroines said she had seen the man before, doing the same things in the same place. When police detained the suspect, he pretended not to understand the Russian language, though his neighbors later said the foreigner spoke Russian well.

In addition, the exhibitionist said he had been living in Moscow for 15 years and working as an editor for an internet site reporting on economic issues.
