A kiss that cost a life

A twenty-seven-year-old girl who was kissing her boyfriend on railway lines has died after being hit by a passenger train going from the southern resort of Anapa to Siberia’s Krasnoyarsk. Some witnesses say she noticed t

The tragedy happened near on a platform in the city of Novosibirsk, police informed. Absorbed in their passion, the couple didn’t notice anything around them as they were kissing on the rails. The driver was signaling, a railway station worker was blowing a whistle and a woman on the platform said she was crying out to them, but they didn’t hear because a freight train was passing by on the neighbouring track.

If the witnesses’ statements are true, the girl saved the boy’s life for the price of her own one.
