Anti-ICE protesters clash with federal agents in Portland (VIDEO)
Protesters clashed with federal agents and police outside a detention center for illegal immigrants in Portland, Oregon, over the weekend.
An angry crowd that included black-clad Antifa members launched fireworks at officers, who responded with tear gas and pepper balls.
For weeks, demonstrators have held rallies and blocked the entrance to a US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility, denouncing President Donald Trump’s crackdown on illegal immigration.
The latest clashes followed peaceful ‘No Kings’ protest marches in multiple cities, including Portland.

On Monday, a federal appellate court allowed Trump to deploy the National Guard in Oregon pending further litigation. The president has argued that the move is necessary to curb riots and crime in Democrat-run cities.
Oregon Attorney General Dan Rayfield condemned the ruling, saying it lacked justification and had put the country “on a dangerous path.”
